Winter is a great time to enjoy Tel Aviv and be part of its vibrant and unique culture, fusing Mediterranean ambiance, Jewish tradition, and Israel’s dynamic new Hebrew-based society into an exuberant whole.
See and experience art, movies, architecture, music, painting, sculpture, theater (translated into English), street life, open-air markets, the beach, excursions, museums, libraries and more!
The program fee includes tuition, lodging, breakfast and lunch, a welcome and farewell dinner, in country transportation, activity fees in Israel and the $250 UM Education Abroad Fee.
Students will be responsible for any personal expenses, most dinners, airport taxes and transfers, as well as the international airfare to Israel.
Participants may be eligible for scholarships from the Isadore and Bertha Gudelsky Memorial Scholarship Fund, which range from $500-$1500. To apply for this scholarship, click here to download the application.
The University of Maryland Education Abroad office also offers a number of partial scholarships (between $500 and $1,000) to students planning to study abroad.
